Midwest Mission Disaster Kit Collection

- Mission Accomplished

Congratulations West Side.  We were able to drop off 107 complete dignity kits (each kit would cost close to $20 to purchase each item or approx $2,000 for the 107 kits),18 bottles  Laundry detergent,18 bottles Household cleaners, 32 bottles of Dish soap, #8 pair work gloves - worth about $375 at Plymouth 1st UMC on Thursday and some left over supplies (6 boxes of Ziplock bags,12 Hand towels, 26 Bars of soap, 7 Toothbrushes, 3 Deodorants - worth approx $120) for the Midwest Mission Warehouse.  All of the supplies were purchased by donors to the collection  We also sent $214 to cover the cost of adding a razor and toothpaste to each kit. Approx Value of all donations: $2700

Thanks to all who purchased and donated supplies, $2 for 24 kits, assembled the kits, loaded kits, drove the kits to Plymouth 1st UMC where they were unloaded. 

These supplies were sent out by the Midwest Mission Warehouse & will be put to good use when there is another disaster in our country.
